Everybody Loves A Clown

This is the 2nd episode of season 2, we get to meet 3 new characters: Ellen a saloon owner and hunter, Jo, Ellen's feisty daughter and Ash the genius.

At the beginning we see a family at a carnival the girl sees a clown which the parents can't see, then we cut to a burning corpse (John) and the brothers standing near it crying. The brothers go to Bobby's; we see Dean working on the impala, Sam cracks John's phone code and finds a message off a woman (Ellen).

The brothers borrow a car from Bobby and goes to see the woman; they arrive at the saloon but the door is locked so as they do they pick the lock. In the saloon they see a guy asleep on the pool table (Ash), Sam looks in the kitchen while Dean stays in the bar. He feels something sticking in his back; this is where we get to meet Jo. Sam comes from the kitchen with his hands on his head we see Ellen holding a gun.

Ash offers to help the brothers track down the demon, meanwhile Sam sees a folder Ellen lets him take a look at it, it's a hunt. The boys leave to check it out; they join the carnival to search the place. A little girl sees the clown.

We cut to outside of the family's home Sam and Dean are waiting for it to attack, when it enters with the little girl the brothers rush into the house and shoot at it but it disappears. The rest of the family are awoken by the gunshots and the boys flee. The guys dump the car and start walking, they start talking about their dad, Sam asks Dean if he's ok; Dean: 'I swear the next person that asks me if I’m ok, I’m gonna start throwing punches'. Sam rings Ellen and finds out it could be a Rakshasa and how to kill the thing.

Cut to the carnival. Dean goes to ask the blind man if he has a brass knife, we find out that the blind guy is actually the Rakshasa he turns invisible and starts throwing knives at Dean. Sam and Dean enter the playhouse the Rakshasa is in there too, they get split up but when they find each other Dean gets pinned to the wall by knives. Sam finds a pipe made of brass from the organ and stabs the Rakshasa, which melts to the ground.

(The Rakshasa is DEAD yay)

We cut to the saloon. The guys are having beers and waiting for Ash to tell them what he's found. He has set up a whole system on his laptop for tracking the signs of the Demon activity, which will give a warning when the signs appear.

Then we cut to Bobby's scrap yard. Sam tells Dean how he's feeling, he’s guilty and not coping very well but he also knows Dean isn’t aright either. Dean is actually speechless when Sam goes back to the house. We then see Dean hitting the impala with a crow bar.
