Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Thingsby Michelle
Angela and Neil are sitting up the table, Angela is upset and has been crying. There is a knock at the door. It’s Matt, Angela’s boyfriend. He shoves past Neil and goes into the kitchen to find Angela has left the house.
Angela is driving in her car, she is still really upset when her phone rings. She answers it and it’s Matt. She's not really concentrating on the road as she shouts at Matt down the phone. Matt's trying to apologize, Angela doesn't seem as though she wants to hear it. Suddenly she crashes the car, glass goes everywhere. Angela is dead.
Sam and Dean are off to see their dead mothers (Mary) grave. Dean doesn't want to go, he thinks its all nonsense. After all there is nothing in the grave because Mary’s body was burnt in the fire. All Dean wants to do is go looking for demons. Sam encourages him to go anyway.
At Mary's grave. Sam is digging a hole; he places 2 dog tags into the hole, and says quietly, “I love you Mom!”
Dean won’t go over to the grave; he is seen at a distance. He then notices a tree that seems to be dying, around the area there is big circle of dead grass. He looks at the grave next to it and all the flowers are dead.
After talking to the undertaker at the cemetery, he finds out it is Angela's grave and she was a student at the local college. Her funeral was just 3 days ago. Deans wants to go check it out further but Sam believes Dean is over reacting and is deliberately looking for something supernatural because of where they are. Sam eventually agrees to investigate and they go to the college to see Angela's father, who is a professor.
Sam and Dean are in the office with Angela’s father, they tell him that they were friends of Angela's and they want to offer their condolences. Dean finds an ancient Greek book on a bookshelf in the office. He asks the professor and he explains that he teaches a class on the subject.
Back at the motel room Dean is looking through his dads journal. He really believes that there is something supernatural going on. Sam tries tackling Dean once again about it. He thinks Dean is imagining the hunt to take his mind off everything else. Dean is not happy about Sam’s accusations so he grabs his coat and says to Sam he is off for a drink alone.
Matt is lying on the sofa watching a video of him and Angela, you can see how upset he is. He grabs a beer and then pauses the TV on a shot of Angela. A white reflection of Angela appears on the TV screen. He screams and we see blood splatter over the TV.
Dean, still alone, has broken into Angela’s flat. He bumps into Angela's room mate and makes up an excuse saying he is Angela’s cousin and that her father sent him. They sit down and start talking about Angela, her room mate says how perfect she was. She then tells Dean that Matt killed himself last night!
Dean walks into the motel room; Sam is secretly watching porn (lol). He quickly turns of the TV, Deans says “awkward” (lol). Dean starts telling Sam about Matt killing himself and that before he died he kept seeing Angela everywhere. He has checked out Matt's apartment and there were dead plants everywhere, even a dead goldfish. He carries on saying sarcastically to Sam that of course he is still imagining it all! Dean also by now has Angela’s diary.
Sam and Dean go to see Neil, they tell him that they are counsellors from the college and have come to offer their support of Angela’s and Matt's death. Neil tells the boys that Matt’s death was caused by guilt because he had been cheating on Angela.
The boys go back to the cemetery to burn Angela's remains. Sam isn’t they happy because he thinks there are no bones yet just a rotting corpse. Anyway they dig up the grave to find that it is empty. They notice that there is a symbol which Dean recognizes from the book in the professor’s office.
Sam and Dean go back to visit Angela's father. Dean isn’t very happy. He starts ranting about demonic ritual used for necromancy. Greeks use these symbols for communicating with the dead, even bringing corpses back to life, full zombie action. He accuses the professor of doing this to bring back Angela, but that what's dead should stay dead. Dean shouts at him to tell him where Angela his. The professor is very upset by this and goes to call the police. Sam jumps in and says to Dean it’s not the professor because there are living plants around. Dean then storms out and Sam follows.
Sam tries to talk to Dean about the way he has been acting; he wants to know what is wrong with him. He tells Dean that he is starting to scare him and that doesn't happen much. Dean admits he is being an ass but tells Sam they still have to put stop to this zombie.
The boys are back at the hotel trying to figure out a way to kill Angela, Sam is unsure because there are lots of different ways that are said to kill a zombie so he is unsure which is correct. A few lores say silver might do the trick. They decide they need to find the person who bought Angela back, Dean thinks that Neil might be responsible (from the information in Angela’s diary and Dean found out that Neil is the Professors assistant) so they go to see him.
At Neil’s house the place seems to be empty, they go to check the basement with guns in their hands. They think that Angela is probably out for a kill and that Lindsay her room mate might be the next victim. Dean thinks that it might have been her that Matt was cheating with.
Lindsay is looking at a picture of her and Matt, suddenly she hears someone in the house. Angela then comes running towards Lindsay with a pair of scissors, she tries to stab Lindsay but misses. Lindsay kicks Angela off her, the scissors land on the floor and Angela lands on top of them, they go right through Angela's chest. Lindsay is in shock then suddenly Angela's eyes open she grabs Lindsay by the throat....Dean and Sam come in and fire the gun at Angela, they hit Angela's head but she manages to escape through the window.
Sam and Dean go to find Neil, they find him at college. They demand to know where he is keeping Angela, they tell Neil they want to perform another ritual to stop Angela. They realize that Angela is around and tell Neil to go outside quickly without upsetting her. Sam and Dean leave.
When Angela comes out of the closet where she has been hiding, Matt asks her what's has happened, Angela says she’s not done anything but Sam and Dean are out to hurt her and they need to be stopped. Neil realizes that Sam and Dean are right and Angela needs to be stopped. Neil runs out to the car and Angela realizes that he's running from her, when Angela catches up with him she kills him by breaking his neck.
At the cemetery there are candles around Angela grave, Sam is now bait to trap Angela. He wanders to a copse of trees to find her. Angela sneaks behind Sam, when he hears her coming he turns around and shoots her in the head. Angela is now angry and starts running after Sam. She catches up to Sam and tackles him to the ground, he lands heavily his hand. Dean fires several shots at Angela and she falls into her grave, He slides in the grave, Angela pleads for her life but Dean stakes her chest. It is over.
The following day. Dean and Sam are finishing filling in Angela's grave. As they walk back to the car Dean casts a last look at his mothers grave. Sam says they can stay if he wants but dean says they should go. They also need to get Sams hand checked out because he thinks he broke it when Angela tackled him.
Dean is driving down the road but he pulls over. The boys get out and sit on the hood of the car. Dean gets upset telling Sam that he shouldn't be alive; he believes that he's alive because of their dad and that the demon is linked somehow. He asks Sam how he can possibly make this right. Sam doesn’t say anything. Dean has tears in his eyes as they stand there in silence.
