Interviews: Supernatural supervising producer Sera Gamble made time this week to answer a second batch of TVGuide.com reader questions.
Jared Padalecki has been a busy boy of late; not only filming Supernatural but promotion for 'Friday the 13th', due out well Friday February 13th. Check out his interviews with SF Universe, Saturday Night Magazine and Bloody Disgusting.

Today the sad news reached me about the death of Supernatural producer/director Kim Manners. Kim had lung cancer and passed away on Sunday evening after complications. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and I am sure the Supernatural cast and crew will miss him greatly as well. His contribution to the show (and the X Files before it) was unsurpassed.

Supernatural creator Eric Kripke released a statement saying, "Everyone at Supernatural is walking around in a daze, shocked and absolutely devastated. Kim was a brilliant director; more than that, he was a mentor and friend. He was one of the patriarchs of the family, and we miss him desperately. He gave so much to Supernatural, and everything we do on the show, now and forever, is in memory of him."

'Family Remains' Reviews, Film News and Event updates

Reviews are now available for 'Family Remains', courtesy of The CW Source, IGN and Buddy TV.
And in response to the revelations in the latest episode, BuddyTV have a rather controversial article on "Why Bad Dean is Good for the Show"....

Meanwhile, Jensen Ackles' film 'My Bloody Valentine' achieved good opening box office ratings, making $8.3 million. This tied it in second place with Notorious B.I.G. biopic, 'Notorious'.

Creation Entertainment have announced more details for their Salute to Supernatural in Vancouver, Canada. Guests so far are: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Alona Tal, Gabriel Tigerman and Steve Carlson! The event will take place August 28-30, 2009 at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre.
