GHOSTFACERS
The Ghostfacers team are: Harry, Ed, Maggie, Alan Corbett and Kenny Spruce.
Harry and Ed worked together previously on the website Hell Hounds Lair. The rest of the Ghsotfacers team were completed with Ed's adopted sister Maggie, Spruce on camera and intern Corbett, to investigate haunted houses and supernatural phenomena.
Unfortunately it was during the making of their pilot epsiode of Ghostfacers, at Morton Hall, that team member Corbett lost his life. RIP Alan Corbett, February 29th 2008.

DEATH ECHOS
According to Supernatural, death echos are ghosts caught in a loop where they keep on playing over and over and over again typically in the place where they were murdered.


OTHER REFERENCES
This is a spoof of the SciFi series Ghost Hunters, a reality-based series featuring a team of real-life paranormal investigators who work regular jobs during the day and investigate hauntings at night under the cover of TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society).

Sam: Daggett was the Norman Bates stuff-your-mother kind of lonely.
Norman Bates was a character in the 1960 movie "Psycho". He was a hotel owner suffering from a split personality who killed anyone who crossed his path.

Dean: What, he's never heard of a RealDoll?
A RealDoll is a lifesize silicone sex toy.
