Details on the extras for the Supernatural Complete Second Season (Region 1) have been released. Special features include an interactive "Devil's Road Map" revealing an in-depth look to the urban legends behind the mysteries which inspired the creator, the following of one episode from concept to creation, a gag reel, Jared Padalecki's original screen test, and more.

You can now pre-order the complete second season (release date 11th September) from Amazon.com - there is now a permanent link direct to the site on the right hand side of the page (under the CafePress ad) - check different pages for other goodies!
Barb have released viewing figures for week ending 20th May. "Roadkill" came in 9th for ITV2, which doesn't sound great, however it did attract 630,000 viewers (Katie and Peter got 1231,000!).

Kripke news: Eric and his wife have announced the birth of their baby (good timing Mrs Kripke, waiting till the Season's over). Many congratulations to the Kripke's and their new arrival from all at SNFansUK xx

Jensen News: "Carroll Senior High School put its best bedroom slipper forward at the seventh annual Betty Lynn Buckley Awards at Casa Mañana on Monday night, taking five of the event's most coveted awards for its production of The Pajama Game. Students received their awards from an impressive list of presenters that ranged from the famous -- Lou Diamond Phillips, Jensen Ackles and La Buckley herself -- to the infamous -- Star-Telegram critics Mark Lowry, Todd Camp and Perry Stewart, who appeared deceptively respectable in their tuxedoes."

SN News: Barb have released viewing figures for week ending 13/5. "Tall Tales" gave SN 4th place for ITV2 with 679,000 viewers; not bad!
Supernatural is also nominated in The Constellation Awards , including "Best Science Fiction Television Series of 2006" and both Jared and Jensen are up for "Best Male Performance in a 2006 Science Fiction Television Episode", at the SF Convention, Polaris. Finally, the Region 1 DVD set for Supernatural Season 2 will be released 11th September 2007! You get all 22 episodes, plus never-before-seen bonus features, in a 6-disc collector's set.
Bonus Features include a gag reel, interactive road map, script-to-screen, commentaries and much more!
It will also feature a special link (ROM) to the website providing fans with critical information about the overarching mystery behind Supernatural.

US fans, don't forget the Season Finale of Supernatural Season 2 tonight!
"All Hell Breaks Loose, Part 2" is on the CW at 9/8c!
Barb have released viewing figures for week ending 6th May. "Born Under A Bad Sign" attracted 572,000 viewers, placing it 4th for ITV2.

Season 3 and CW Upfronts

Supernatural is on for a 3rd Season!
Variety: Returning shows snagging official pickups: Laffers "Girlfriends" and "The Game," and dramas "Smallville," "Supernatural" and “One Tree Hill."'
The Hollywood Reporter: Additionally, the network handed out renewal notices to the comedies "Girlfriends" and "The Game" and the dramas "Smallville," "Supernatural" and "One Tree Hill."
The CW Upfronts started on Monday 14th May in New York. JRAUnlimited have some pictures of Jensen in attendance today - and he still has the beard he was sporting at the Asylum Convention! Click Here to take a peek!

Viewing figures, Jensen Interview and
Spreading the Word

Viewing figures for week ending 29/4/07 are now up on Barb. "Houses of the Holy" came in 5th place for ITV2 with 544,000 viewers. However, watching ITV2 today Supernatural is being advertised more again so hopefully those figures will improve! To do your part, watch on Sunday nights at 9pm and as Jensen once said, tell your friends!
Speaking of Jensen, AOL have an interview with him. He even mentions this weekends convention :
"Next week, I'm headed to London for the first-ever 'Supernatural' convention. So I'm anxiously awaiting that to see how we're received there. But the fans have been great." To read the whole interview Click Here!
