Making His Name in an Unpredictable US TV Drama
Who Is This Cool Guy!?
Jensen Ackles DVD "Supernatural II"
"Supernatural" is about two brothers who struggle to figure out the identity of a demon, which killed their much-loved ones, as they battle with all forms of evil.
This show is popular, along with "24" in the U.S., because of not only the realistic horror story based on true folklore or powerful visual effects, but also because the two lead actors' good looks.
Jensen enthusiastically plays Dean, the older brother, who is wild and tough whereas Sam, the younger brother, is sensitive. Jensen's deep voice enhances his sexiness.
"My way of feeling love and respect for the family and loved one is similar to Dean, but he is ****ier and cheekier than me. [Laugh] I have an older brother and a younger sister. I'm a bit like Dean to my sister [Laugh], but more like a friend to my brother. I don't play tricks on him like Dean and besides I'm more well-built than him."
The second season on air has met with an enormous popular acclaim in the States. The show is about to get to the best part but does this mean the brotherly relationship will be in crisis!?
"In the first season, we cooperated no matter what happened. But
in the second season, we gradually have differences in the way we think. We have emotional conflicts with our way of living as hunters."
Does he believe in the power of "Supernatural"?
"As I've been in the show like this, people often ask me if I feel
scared. But the atmosphere on the set is very friendly and I haven't
had any spooky experiences. If something ever happens, I know what to
do because I've got the knowledge and the means.[Laugh]"
