Episode 5 - "Monster Movie"
1/10/08 - Dean and Sam investigate several murders at Oktoberfest. The first victim was found with bite marks on her neck, much like a vampire would leave, while the second victim has wounds that look like a werewolf attack. After a mummy rises from his crypt, Dean determines that a shape-shifter demon is terrorizing the town as iconic monsters from the old Hollywood movies.
25/9/08 - In episode 5, Dean punches Sam not once, but twice. And not by accident!
29/7/08 - Sometime this season we're going to get a classic horror-film-style episode set in black and white. It's said to be an homage to Dracula and Creature From the Black Lagoon.

Episode 6 - "Phobia"
8/10/08 - Sam and Dean investigate the mysterious deaths of several men who apparently dropped dead of fright. They visit one of the victims in the morgue, and Dean becomes infected with the illness which starts as a general anxiety, then moves on to full-blown terror that eventually stops the heart. Sam and Bobby must find the root of the disease before Dean dies and is sent back to Hell.
The boys fight a ghost named Luther. Luther was in love with a married woman named Jesse. After Jesse went missing, her husband, Frank, went after Luther and choked him with a chain. Frank was never arrested because of his prominent place in society. Sam and Dean try to figure out if Luther's spirit is involved with Frank's death before the spirit goes after others.
[Note: It is possible there is an episode titled "Phoebia" and that part or all of these spoilers be for that episode. Since both "Yellow Fever" and "Phoebia" had the same production number, it's difficult to set them apart.]

Episode 7 - "It's the Great Pumpkin Sam Winchester"
28/10/08 - It's a few days before Halloween and Sam and Dean investigate two mysterious deaths in a small town. The brothers find hex bags and deduce a witch is sacrificing people to summon a dangerous demon named Samhain. Castiel (guest star Misha Collins) arrives in town and tells Sam and Dean the freeing of Samhain is one of the Seals that will lead to freeing Lucifer, so Castiel has brought a specialist angel named Uriel (guest star Robert Wisdom) to smite the entire town.
8/10/08 - Sam and Dean meet Uriel, who is much more coarse and less friendly compared to Castiel. Sam disobeys orders from Uriel to not interfere with certain demons who attack both the brothers and the town, so Uriel threatens their lives. The boys also fight against witches named Tracy and Don and another person (spirit?) named Samhain.

Episode 9 - "I Know What You Did Last Summer"
28/10/08 - Character actor Mark Rolston has been cast in the recurring role of Alastair, the latest demon hell-bent on terrorizing the Brothers Winchester. His first airdate is Nov. 13. The original breakdown for Alastair described him as a "calm and composed demon with a placid smile that belies his simmering sadism and evil. He's one of the top demons in Hell. He's electrifyingly powerful."
Look for an upcoming two-episode arc where we'll meet Anna (Julie McNiven). I'm told that Anna is "a haunted girl who, for mysterious reasons, is able to hear the secret conversations of angels in her head. Demons want to capture her at all costs for the enemy intel she can provide," and the boys have to protect her.
25/9/08 - [ANNA MILTON] 20s - Bright, intelligent, pretty and nuanced. Once a happy journalism student, she is now a fragile, haunted, and frightened woman who has been hospitalized for hearing voices. After her life is threatened, she goes through a transformation becoming a strong, powerful woman who holds herself with grace --while also kicking ass. Think transforming from "Girl Interrupted" to Cate Blanchette. Actress also should be comfortable with fight scenes...GUEST STAR, RECURRING ROLE. PLEASE SUBMIT ALL ETHNICITIES.
[ALASTAIR] Suggest 30s - early 40s. An ordinary looking guy with the bearing of a high-ranking military officer, he's a calm, composed demon with a placid smile that belies his simmering sadism and evil. One of the top demons in hell, he's terrifyingly powerful. Actor should be comfortable with fight scenes... sptv050769 GUEST STAR, RECURRING ROLE. PLEASE SUBMIT ALL ETHNICITIES.

Meanwhile, Alastair (guest star Mark Rolston) and his demons continue to close in on Anna and the brothers.
The reason [Dean] was infected [in "Yellow Fever"] is because of a secret he's keeping.

8/10/08 - "Coming up in the middle of the season, there's an episode titled 'Afterschool Special' in which the boys investigate a haunting at one of the high schools they attended as kids," exec producer Eric Kripke tells me. "As they investigate, we'll see flashbacks to what high school was like for Sam and Dean." Sounds fun, right? It won't be. Adds Kripke: "It wasn't pretty."

General Spoilers
13/11/08 - One of the of the Winchester brothers will partake in a shirtless (and presumably pantsless) sex scene before the end of November sweeps. Even more shocking than that? The deed is done at a location Supe fans hold sacred.
11/11/08 - We'll soon be meeting younger versions of Sam and Dean and see that Sam never liked their life on the road, and for a while there when he was young, he even dared to dream of another life. Dean, meanwhile, enjoyed the "love 'em and leave 'em" aspect of dating while never staying in one place for too long. Those scamps!
6/11/08 - the show is now casting for an 18-year-old Dean.
15/10/08 - Look for an upcoming two-episode arc where we'll meet Anna (Julie McNiven). I'm told that Anna is "a haunted girl who, for mysterious reasons, is able to hear the secret conversations of angels in her head. Demons want to capture her at all costs for the enemy intel she can provide," and the boys have to protect her.
9/10/08 - A sweeps episode finds Sam, Dean, and Ruby literally getting caught in the middle of a war between angels and demons. Also, Dean is going to be infected with ghost sickness in what a Supe insider predicts will be "the funniest Supernatural episode ever."Source: EW
8/10/08 - In a midseason episode, we'll meet Anna, whose brain is a veritable wiretap of the angelic realms, and through her we'll learn that the angelic hosts remain deeply fascinated by Sam and Dean.
1/10/08 - The show is currently casting another Big Bad, a middle-aged demon whose air of gentility does little to mask the stink of his cruelty. The recurring character is one of the top dogs down under, so it's a safe bet that he's gonna raise some hell for the Winchesters.
25/9/08 - the show is casting two new recurring roles: One's a pretty ass kicker who hears voices and seems likely to become a love interest for one of the Winchester boys; the other's a he-demon whose serene demeanor belies a mile-wide sadistic streak.
17/9/08 - Sam does indeed still have powers, he does use them, and Dean doesn't witness the event, so as far as I can tell, Dean remains in the dark.
There's a potential bigger bad than Lilith this season, but Lilith is the one working to release him, so she's the primary antagonist for the time being.
13/9/08 - Supernatural has cast The Wire's Robert Wisdom in the recurring role of Uriel, a dangerous, intimidating, aloof, imperious, contemptuous, humorless killer.
9/9/08 - There are angels everywhere on TV right now, and specifically, we'll be meeting two angels this season on Supernatural, but they aren't pretty babies like the ones on your refrigerator magnet: Castiel and his partner Uriel are badass seraphim. Imagine Julian McMahon with wings...Both characters will be recurring, but look for more trouble from Uriel, who is not a fan of the human race in general and who doesn't want Sam and Dean succeeding in particular.Source: Watch With Kristin
3/8/08 - "We're just starting to talk about it, but I think we'll do it this season," Kripke teased. "An episode where the boys investigate a haunting at one of the high schools they used to go to, and then flashback to what the boys' high school lives were like. We'll sort of see them played by 18-year-olds and giving people swirlies, or whatever the hell they did. I don't know yet, we haven't worked it out."Source: Buddy TV
29/7/08 - We're joining up with the Winchester boys four months after we saw Dean hanging from chains in that blistering-hot place run by that dude Beelzebub (aka hell). Too bad for Dean, though, as hell seems to run in dog years. So what's on deck for these poor, miserable souls? Nothing good... Over the first half of the season, we will learn what Sam did while he was by himself and what Dean endured in hell. "Sam's turning a little reckless now that his brother is dead," Jared revealed. And during his four months alone, Sam has cut off contact with everyone and has become wildly suicidal in his hunting attempts. The boys used to have an open relationship, but "now they have secrets from each other," dished Kripke. The good news? If you're looking for that great (smartass) Dean charm, Jensen reassured us: "He's still the same shoot-first-ask-questions-later kind of guy, but he's trying to figure out how he got back from hell." So it looks like Dean's mystery will be a large focus this year. Kripke added, "The big question is not does he get out, but how he got out." A.J. Buckley, Travis Wester and Brittany Ishibashi showed up to the Comic-Con panel, so you'd better believe we're going to see more of the Ghostfacers in the future. Said Kripke, "We're always looking for ways to bring the Ghostfacers back in the actual series... We're working on some new material, either webisodes, potentially cell phone content or basically an off-network Ghostfacers' series." [...] Nicki Aycox will be returning for at least one episode to reprise her role as Meg Masters. Also, we'll get more John and Mary Winchester. Still, fellow Jeffrey Dean Morgan fans, don't get too excited-we're going to be seeing them at age 18, when the lovebirds met. Looks like this is the season of individuality; Sam and Dean aren't going to be as close.
11/6/08 - I’m hearing that Supernatural is going to be dealing with a lot of specifically religious symbolism this season, with a particular eye toward the devil, hell, god, etc. (And with any luck: loincloths.) Also, did you hear that Sam is the devil's son?! Oh wait, wrong show. Did you hear that Dean is in hell?! Crazy town! From what I'm hearing, the new Supernatural season is looking really good.Source: Kristin on E!Online
28/5/08 - [Eric Kripke says] "How Dean gets out of Hell becomes the primary concern for Season 4. He'll spend a long time there and he emerges to a different landscape. A lot has changed since he's been away, and he'll have to readjust to his loved ones. His relationshiop with Sam (Jared Padalecki) will be massively affected. We don't feel that Dean is going to be a demon but there will be an ongoing mystery. Just what happened to Dean in Hell? He has little recollection. Slowly and surely we'll unfold that story."Source: Spoiler TV
24/5/08 - Lauren will not be coming back next year. [... In Season 4,] we're gonna spend a little less time talking about giant movements and war and more time talking about the brothers' relationship and how they react to that war. I think we sort of have a new species of supernatural being that we'll be introducing in season four that will take people by surprise. [...] In terms of Mary, we're definitely delving into all of that. I think my goal is to answer those questions sooner than people are expecting us to. I think in the first half of season four we'll actually answer a lot of those questions. [...] We have the Croatoan virus on our board of ongoing mythology, and it will return in some form or another that we're working on.
