This is a text taken from CW forum from an interview with Sera Gamble
Are there any myths that you're looking forward to tackling, or are you running out?
SG: We still have a long list on the board. Lately I've been thinking in terms of scenarios I would like to see the boys in, and trying to find what supernatural creature would cause this certain thing to happen to Sam or Dean.
CW: Such as…
SG: I'll give you an example of an episode that we are working on now – episode 12. It's sort of a Groundhog's Day episode, and we approached it from the point of view of how can we tell a story where one or both of the boys is stuck in the same day over and over and over again. We stared with that notion, and had conversation about which brother it should be and why and what they would learn, and then ok, how could this happen supernaturally -- what creature or what situation or what strange place in the United States could possibly make this happen? There's been a lot of talk like that in the writers room lately. |

Sam and Dean investigate the disappearance of a man who went missing at a tourist location. While searching the site, Dean is shot and killed by the owner. Sam is devastated but stunned when he wakes up the next morning to find Dean alive and well. As the day unfolds, Sam realizes he is re-living the previous day and tries to prevent Dean's death, but to no avail. Dean dies again and Sam must learn to live life without his brother by his side.

Yep. Eric Kripke explained that he swapped the last two episodes to make for a more exciting climax to the series. Looks like some great episodes coming up and it's just revving up the emotional content. Shame it's going to be cut short.
